Megan Boehme

Assistant Coach, Iowa City West Girls Track & Field / XC

Megan Boehme is a first-year assistant coach for girls cross country at Iowa City West for the 2025 season. Coach Megan just completed her first season as an assistant coach for the girls track and field team this past spring. A 2014 graduate of Southeast Warren Jr.-Sr. High School, Megan competed in both track and cross country throughout high school. She was a founding member of her school's cross country team in 2010, helping reestablish the program within the district.

After high school, Megan attended the University of Northern Iowa, where she deepened her love for long-distance running. During her college years, she completed several half and full marathons, and graduated in 2018.

Outside of coaching, Megan teaches Spanish at Iowa City West and enjoys spending time on the local trails. She is proud to begin her high school coaching career at West and is passionate about supporting student-athletes as they grow both on the track and as individuals.
