Connor Belken joins the West High Girls Cross Country Staff in 2026 after joining the girls Track & Field team last spring. Connor is coming off a successful track & field career at the University of Iowa as well. Connor is currently a trainer at D1 Training in Coralville and helps many athletes in Eastern Iowa become stronger and faster.

While at Iowa, Connor ran the third leg of the 2024 B1G Champion Outdoor 4x400 team. Connor owns a personal best of 46.98 in the 400m and 21.56 in the 200m. Connor is currently training for the US Olympic Trials and is a trainer at D1 Training in Coralville.

In high school, Connor ran on the conference and state champion 4x200m relay for Dubuque Wahlert.
